The Tonga Filigree Basket is a subtle, neutral accent to add dimension to any space. These baskets are handwoven by the BaTonga women, who live in the remote Binga District of Northern Zimbabwe. These skilled craftswomen utilize all natural and locally harvested materials such as wild grasses, palm leaves, and twigs. The basket is finished with a traditional herringbone lip. These beautifully woven baskets are available in multiple sizes, making it easy to find the perfect one for your wall or tabletop.
