TONGA BASKET, LARGE - ZIMBABWE
The Tonga Basket is a striking yet versatile accent for the home. These baskets are handwoven by the BaTonga women, who live in the remote Binga district of Northern Zimbabwe. They utilize all-natural and locally harvested materials such as wild grasses, small vines, and ilala palm fronds, dyed with tree bark. The basket is finished with a traditional herringbone lip. This large size is a perfect statement piece for any space or can easily be combined with various other sizes to create a feature wall.
