Each one-of-a-kind blanket is handcrafted from start to finish, utilizing rustic tools and traditional processes handed down in the villages over generations since the 1700s. The undyed, natural wool is woven on a traditional wooden standing loom by elders in the highlands of Guatemala. The blankets are then brought to local hot springs for an intensive felting process before being brushed by hand with teasel to release the fibers for a soft, fluffy finish. The cream colored blanket is a beautiful neutral to compliment any interior.
