The Veta Vera Handwoven Fan uses all natural materials to showcase style and function. Master artisans in Ghana’s northern Bolgatanga region craft these sturdy fans from veta vera grass, also known as elephant grass, a tough and sturdy river grass that is found along the equatorial band of Africa wherever there is sufficient water. The fan features a handle wrapped in soft leather for comfort and contrast. The fan doubles as wall art when not in use. Because this is a handcrafted item, each will vary slightly.
